The department store chain, which is set to close about 65 stores nationally in 2017, said it will shutter stores in the upstate city of Rochester, town of Clay and village of Johnson City, and in the Douglaston section of Queens on April 18, according to syracuse.com.
In total, the store plans to close about 100 of its stores across the country in the coming years. Its stores in Yonkers, Yorktown, West Nyack, Nanuet, Poughkeepsie and Middletown will remain open.
The store closures are expected to eliminate 10,000 jobs across the United States, including 163 in Douglaston, 101 in Rochester, 73 in Johnson City and 69 in Clay, according to syracuse.com.
